Peephole shows you all the latest photos that have been posted to Twitter. It is a great way to see what is going on in the world or just nearby.

Peephole is an alternate view of Twitter that shows the photos first. You don't even need a Twitter account, just a desire to see what's going on.

There are 2 modes:

1. Post a Twitter Update on a Google Map: A twitter user can post location specific tweets by clicking on a google map and typing in their update. The map location is converted into a short URL and appended to the twitter message.

2. Search for Twitter updates on a map: Click anywhere on the Google map to search for twitter messages referencing that location name.

This new Twitter.com application allows users to easily insert and share local place information when tweeting. Think of it as "TwitPic for places".

Watch events unfold as they happen on a map. This is a customizable component that is available for purchase to be used on your own site.
